It’s been a while! How’s your 2019 been doing? I hope that you are on the track in achieving your goals this year. Hmmm… So what goals are you planning to achieve in this brand new year? So, this early march, I was so honourable to be invited to attend the launch party held by MAHSA University at their Saujana Putra main campus for their new Ballroom launch. During the launch party, Dato’ Dr. Anita, a member for the MAHSA Board of directors begin the ceremony by giving her welcome speech. She explained that MAHSA University is setting up another facet known as MAHSA Events in steering into the hospitality industry as MAHSA Group has been focusing on healthcare and education for the past 15 years. Mahsa events features a diverse range of events spaces with the versatiliy to cope with every individuals’ needs. So, it’s basically a one-stop-service where you can expect anything you need from planning to the event the day itself by hitting up enquiry@mahsaevents.com.myfor their services.
After spending a night in the new ballroom by MAHSA Unviersity, I personally felt that the spacious ballroom can host lots of different events. Events ranging from corporate events such as annual dinner, corporate seminar, media conferences while personal events such as weddings, standup comedy, mini concert and even art exhibition is perfect to be hosted there!
Let’s talk about the capacity. For the ballroom, I’d been told by the person in charge that the ballroom can accommodate up to 1000 paxs with round table setting while 2000 paxs with theatre seating. And also not to forget that the ballroom can accommodate up to 4000 paxs (standing) if a mini concert is to be hold The ballroom features six magnificent chandeliers that comes with a remote controlled LED lighting to adjust your personal ambience for your event.Other than that, there is also an indoor garden and a unique foyer with high glass ceilings that makes it the perfect venue for your every occasion. For audio support, the ballroom is built in with 10 units line array speakers, 32 track digital mixer with built in effects and 16 track digital stage box while visual support is built in with 4k LED screens.

The above picture is a view of the ballroom from the inside. You can see that the chandeliers are very magnificent and classy.
These are the 2 VIP parlours that are located above the entrance of the ballroom. Lift is available to access, so don't worry about climbing up and down using the staircase. The best thing about this place, it is centralised air-con, so basically no chance to sweat at all!
Inside the parlours, VIPs can actually make use the space to complete their makeup or even have a rest on the couch. You can actually view what's happening inside The Ballroom whilst getting yourself ready for the event!
On the 1st floor of the ballroom, there’s also a function room or they called it VIP box ( top picture) that can accommodates up to 10 ten round table for dining purposes. For seminar setting, the function room can accommodates up to 150 paxs.
The PA room (bottom picture) is also on the 1st floor of the ballroom that controls the amplifiers , loudspeakers, microphones and related equipment for the public address system.
Do you think that this is the end? Nope. THE BALLROOM is just one of the six event spaces that is available for rent to organize any type of events by matching the budget for your event. Other five event spaces consists of the event hall, M theatre, Twelfth Floor, THE PARK and THE GROUNDS.
Let’s talk briefly about another two event spaces that attracted me the most, THE GROUNDS and the M theatre.
What attracts me the most for THE GROUNDS is the exterior and interior design of the space that comes with an adjoining garden. The venue is build up with long glass panels, picturesque lighting with a gorgeous atrium that is perfect for events such as product launching and even lavish weddings! THE GROUNDS can accommodate up to 500 paxs on the ground floor and 120 paxs for the first floor. Ample parking spaces are also available around the venue located! So no worries about problems in limited parking spaces if you organize your events at THE GROUNDS.
Furthermore, M theatre is an auditorium that comfortably fits 300 persons. Located at the affluent hub of Petaling Jaya area that makes it ideal for events such as conferences, meetings and even seminars. Guest could comfortably enjoy their seminars as all are plush foam seats that attached along with MDF Writing pads. No more worries to take down important note during seminars being held!:) Another highlight to mentioned is that this M theatre is just located next to THE GROUNDS. If you are finding event spaces that consists of day events and night events, these two event spaces is the best fits!
