Garden Paradis Cafe

It's a sunny Saturday while my brother and I decided to go for lunch together before I head for casting. We didn't know what for lunch and he told me to think about it. When he'd reach around the Penang botanical garden, an idea pops out of my head. I suddenly thought of going a cafe which I saw my friend posted a while ago, which the captions says 'the food was great, but the mosquitoes were greater' hah! That cafe was Garden Paradis Cafe. It was a garden-themed cafe which serves mostly Japanese style cuisines. We're lucky to have seats inside the cafe so that we aren't feeding mosquitoes at the same time haha. The overall environment was not bad but maybe a little bit hotter or I think it might be the hot weather's fault. As we reached, we only managed to see the Big ben's sign while Garden Paradis is just right beside it but you will need to walk for a short distance before you reach the cafe's entrance.
This is the view when we get out of our car. There's a small shop sign at the right wall. Take note !
The garden-themed environment is kinda a great place to chill out from the hustle bustle city.
The entrance.
The tables and seats available outside. I would say that this is quite a big space to accommodate around 20 persons.
My view. That's the small bar over the and the counter. Quite a simple and retro style.

I ordered the gyoza ramen while my brother took the chicken teriyaki with rice served. Both servings were quite big portion and we shared among the dishes. The dishes really gave our taste buds a surprise. :)
 foods on the table

The ramen comes with narutomaki, sliced chicken, seaweed and  half boiled eggs. The half boiled eggs makes me feels shocked when I ate it. The eggs eventually melts in my mouth, like seriously. I usually crave for half boiled eggs and also poached eggs in my daily meals. The eggs were so good, it makes the dish a scrumptious one.

The gyoza.

The Chicken Teriyaki served with rice comes with a variety of small starters. These will be the sliced fruits, miso soup, plate of salads, and chawanmushi. The chawanmushi is so silky soft and tender in it's texture.
The terriyaki chicken.
so, what's after good food? PHOTOGRAPHING!

nowadays , wearing your shirt untidily is the trend lol
The environment around the cafe is perfectly surrounded by greens and I will suggest you to apply mosquitoes repellent if you want to have a walk outside.
The iPhone 7plus portrait mode is too addicting haha!

The Garden Paradis cafe is overall a good one. The price differs in what your are ordering. It's exact location will be at Botanical Garden Horticulture Centre 3645 Annex D Bunga, Jalan Kebun Bunga, Georgetown, 10350 George Town, Penang, Malaysia. It opens at 8am and closes at 9pm daily.
All of the review is based on my personal experiences and thoughts.:) All photos are taken by me and edited using VSCO :)
