单 CAFÉ

As some of you know, I was a barista few months back haha. I quit my job as I was preparing to help out my ex-manager. But still, I'm still not working for the moment.  The subjects I took for this semester seriously stress the hell out of me and I'm still slacking 24/7. For a short in between class-break, my friends and I still managed to sneak out to get some good dessert :D This time, we managed to visit one of the most overwhelming newly refurbished cafe which is 单cafe. The first impression for me is being single? Err.. Anyhow, the Dan cafe used to be called as the Lunabar if I'm not mistaken....

This will be the main entrance i guess? haha There are two separated sections for this cafe. 

One section is where you make your order and the seats are quite limited while the another section is more spacious.

Now, the another sections which I really love the designs because of the minimalistic setting !

Simple and yet beautiful !

If you're going alone, you might consider chose to sit right at this corner! haha:)

For the food part, this cafe currently only serves few choices of dessert and typical range of coffee selections and non-caffeine as well.

We ordered the recommended Chocolate Lava Cake and a Matcha latte.

The chocolate lava cake (RM18) won't too sweet for my liking. It's overall still a decent chocolate cake but with flowing chocolate, topped with ice cream and sprinkles of sliced strawberries. 

however, the matcha latte (RM13) was too milky for my liking, could barely taste matcha out of it :O

The exact location for 单 CAFE will be located at 38/1, Farquhar Street, 10200, Georgetown, Penang.  They are opened from 1pm- 10pm daily except Sundays. *All pictures are taken by my own and the experiences and reviews are based on my personal perspectives and feelings* All prices are nett and no gst charges and no service charges for the time being.
